The Material Distinction

Gold vermeil is the union of two precious metals: solid gold over sterling silver. Unlike standard plated jewelry that relies on brass or bronze beneath the surface, every Miaora piece is built on genuine sterling silver. Care & Preservation

Gold vermeil is resilient, but mindful care preserves its beauty for years. Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, or applying lotions and perfumes. Prolonged exposure to water and chemicals can interact with the metals over time. When you're not wearing your pieces, store them in a cool, dry place, ideally in individual pouches or compartments to prevent scratching.
